Jennifer Brown

Lawyer

Called to the Ontario bar in 2002, Jennifer brings with her over 20 years of experience as a family law practitioner.  Jennifer strives for amicable and efficient resolutions and is a skilled advocate working towards child focused solutions.  

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto (1998) and a Bachelor of Laws from Queen’s University (2001).  She was a personal rights panel member with the Office of the Children’s Lawyer, a panel lawyer with the Family Responsibility Office and a Dispute Resolution Officer with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. 

A strong believer in social justice, Jennifer has been a board member with the Caledon Parent Child Centre, the Headwaters Family Visit Centre, Caledon Community Services and the Peel Sexual Assault Centre.  She is a past Ally member of the Dufferin County Canadian Black Association.  

Jennifer is excited to practice law in Nova Scotia and utilizing her experience to assist clients with positive and just outcomes to their various family law situations.   

A proud parent to 4 children and 1 orange tabby cat, Jennifer loves spending time at the beach, dancing and collecting all things purple.
